Lauren Payne, L.M.T.

I received my training at the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage by an amazing staff of inspirational educators and healers. After residing on the islands for seven years, which truly was a nurturing experience, it was time for change and expansion. My greatest teaching was the gift of “Aloha” which I brought with me to beautiful Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Mountains in 2003.

A huge reason that I moved to the Sierra Mountains was to take full advantage of the epic year round sporting activities, and I understand the impact of various sports on your body. I also began receiving regular massage therapy at the age of 15 and I believe that my experience (on the other side of the table) has made a significant contribution to my sucess in this field of work. Presently I am working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in natural health and holistic nutrition.

What does the future hold for me? — Perhaps a co-operatively run wellness center here in beautiful Lake Tahoe.
